St. Francis CYO Basketball has provided a safe and fun learning environment for the youth of the parish for decades. The basketball program stresses Christian values through sportsmanship, and an "all are welcome" and "all play" philosophy. The program consists of a boys program on Saturdays and a girls program on Sundays, with over 40 volunteers assisting approximately 300 participants.

In addition to the "intramural/in-house leagues", several travel teams compete against other parishes throughout the Archdiocese.

St. Francis Basketball (Boys & Girls) will conduct registration for the upcoming season on Tuesday, October 21st and Wednesday, October 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at the Parish Center. The boys' (grades 1-8) play on Saturdays while the girls' (K-8) play on Sundays. The fee is $60 per player with maximum family fee of $100, in addition there are sponsor oportunities.

All students in Grades 6-8 are welcome
to share in the life and ministry of the Church in many new and exciting ways, especially spiritually, athletically, and socially through many programs and
trips St. Francis offers for this age
group.

All high school students are invited to be involved in the life and ministry of the Church spiritually, athletically and socially. Youth Ministry gives our young people the opportunity to know and love our God through interaction with their peers in various ministry events. Our Youth Ministry centers around their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation and through the many programs and trips offered throughout the year. We offer a wonderful summer ministry opportunity called Gospel Road, which allows the students the chance to build up leadership skills in their ministry all week to children, the sick, and the poor. This experience along with our annual ski trip, laser quest, a scavenger hunt, and service projects, like our parish clothing drive, just to name a few, enables our high school to experience God's presence in their lives in so many different ways.

For more information on how you can be involved, either as a student or as an adult leader, please contact Fr. Joe.
